Disney released the first poster of the upcoming film, The Little Mermaid, Friday October 14, 2022. Footage of the poster shared with fans via Twitter shows Ariel (played by Halle Bailey) sitting on a rock at the bottom of the ocean, looking out at the world above. In the image that focuses Ariel's portrait from the top down to her shimmering fins as the subject of the photo, she looks stunning under the blue sea with her long, flowing red hair.

A month ago Disney released a trailer for The Little Mermaid featuring Halle Bailey as the lead mermaid named Ariel.
The film produced by Walt Disney Pictures is an adaptation of the 1989 animated film of the same name which is adapted from the fairy tale by Hans Christian Andersen. The story from the Disney live-action film may be quite familiar to the audience and not much different from the animated version.
Ariel, who is the youngest child of King Triton, was fascinated by the human world after he managed to save a prince named Eric who drowned when his ship sank. Ariel then falls in love with Prince Eric and is determined to meet him on the surface. However, he comes under pressure from King Triton and gets into a complicated conflict with the sea mage Ursula.
Ariel's portrait on the poster while looking up at the water has also been featured in the video trailer. The portrait really reflects Ariel's desire to be able to rise to land someday. As of this writing, the trailer for The Little Mermaid has been watched more than 24.8 million times and liked by 1.2 million people.
The Little Mermaid was directed by Rob Marshall and written by Magee , John DeLuca and Marshall. The story of the mermaid's life will also star Jonah Hauer-King, Melissa McCarthy, Simone Ashley, and Javier Bardem.
