The Golden Spoon is a South Korean drama-thriller TV series directed by Song Hyun-wook and starring Yook Sung-jae, Lee Jong-won, Jung Chae-yeon, Yeon Woo and Choi Dae-chul, with members other cast. The series takes over the Friday-Saturday 10 p.m. KST time slot, previously occupied by Big Mouth. The series is based on the webcomic Geumsujeo by gp04fb on Naver. 

Lee Seung-cheon is a poor student whose family can't afford to pay much. Tired of not being able to enjoy life's pleasures, Seung-cheon meets a mysterious old woman who gives him a mysterious golden spoon. He could use a spoon to exchange lives with others, but he only got three chances to make up his mind. So, will Seung-cheon choose his own family or give it his all for the sake of a rich and luxurious life?

The series will have 16 episodes and will air every Friday and Saturday. The series will air from September 23 to November 12, 2022, at 10 p.m. KST on MBC. Golden Spoon episode 3 shows Seung-cheon knowing that Hwang Hyun-do's will states that his property is not to be passed on to his heirs. Shocked by this, Seung-cheon prepares to prove his worth and make Hyun-do reverse his wish. 

Soon Seung-cheon and Tae-yong celebrate their anniversary in their new life. When Seung-cheon impresses Hyun-do with his surprise and attitude, Tae-yong shows his gratitude to his mother. On the other hand, Na Ju-hee was on her way to Seung-cheon's house when she met a mysterious grandmother who gave her a letter for "Tae-yong" (Seung-cheon). Then she goes to a party with Tae-yong who surprises everyone with his piano skills and then starts hanging around. 

However, getting a letter from Ju-hee scares Seung-cheon who has received a warning about another rule stating that if the two boys meet their parents on their birthday then they will go back to being themselves. Seung-cheon runs around looking for Tae-yong when Tae-yong escapes an encounter with his biological father. 

The next day, Seung-cheon starts badmouthing his real self in front of Ju-hee who then confesses that he likes “Seung-cheon” which leaves him speechless. Later, he remembered the owner of the house constantly causing trouble for his real family, so he taught the man a lesson and made sure that he no longer caused trouble. Later, he goes to check on Ju-hee who works at the convenience store but sees a strange man staring at her. 

The man then follows Ju-hee and Seung-cheon saves him at the right time after which he tells him that the man is his friend's father who died five years ago. Back home, Seung-cheon looks for other ways to impress Hyun-do who heard him and asks if he knows about the will. Seung-cheon agrees and Hyun-do tells him to prove himself if he wants to reverse the will. The next day at school, Seung-cheon receives a message questioning his identity as Hwang Tae-yong.
