Lee Ji Han died at the age of 24 after being a victim of the Itaewon Halloween tragedy. Even though at that time, the Produce 101 Season 2 contestant was involved in drama production. Lee Ji Han was supposed to star in the Korean drama Season of Kkok Du which was aired on MBC. This Korean drama also stars Kim Jung Hyun and Im Soo Hyang.

After hearing the sad news of Lee Ji Han's passing, the production team agreed to temporarily stop filming the drama Season of Kkok Du. It is known, Lee Ji Han plays the former lover of the female lead starring Im Soo Hyang. Now, MBC reports that filming for the Korean drama Season of Kkok Du has resumed. 

The role that should have been starring by Lee JI Han was replaced. Lee Jung Joon was decided to be the actor who will replace the role of Lee Ji Han. This was conveyed by MBC through a statement. "Lee Jung Joon recently joined Season of Kkok Du to replace the late Lee Ji Han," said MBC.

Season of Kkok Du is a fantasy drama that tells of an angel of death named Kkok Du (Kim Jung Hyun). He comes down to earth once every 99 years to punish humans. Kkok Du then meets Han Gye Jeol (Im Soo Hyang), a doctor with mysterious abilities. Kkok Du then worked as a visiting doctor.

Lee Jung Joon will replace Lee Ji Han as Jung Yi Deun. He is Han Gye Jeol's ex-girlfriend. Lee Jung Joon is a young actor who graduated from the Korea National University of Arts. He debuted in 2017 through the Korean drama Queen for Seven Days. His appearance can also be watched in Class of Lies, Squid Game, to Cheer Up.
