TOMORROW x TOGETHER or TXT will appear on the red carpet at the 2022 American Music Awards. This news was confirmed directly by the AMA 2022. Reported by Soompi, TXT became one of the nominees in the Favorite K-Pop Artist category along with BTS, SEVENTEEN, TWICE, and BLACKPINK.
The 2022 American Music Awards will be held on November 20, 2022 Los Angeles time. The event will be hosted by Wayne Brady and will be broadcast live from the Microsoft Theater at LA Live, Los Angeles. Meanwhile, the red carpet event will take place right before the show. This is the first time TXT has been nominated for an American Music Award.
This year's event marked the 50th AMA performance. As part of this, the event will feature a special tribute performance from P!NK who will be reuniting on the AMA stage. Last year, the AMA event was so special with performances from BTS who collaborated with Coldplay. It was their first appearance of the song My Universe.
Now, Dick Clark Productions and ABC have also announced the performers for the 2022 American Music Awards. They include Carrie Underwood, Imagine Dragons, Dove Cameron, Bebe Rexha, Wizkid, David Guetta, Anitta, Ari Lennox, Charlie Puth, GloRilla, Lil Baby, and Stevie Wonder.
