South Korean Actor Nam Joo Hyuk has officially announced his departure date to fulfill his military service duties. Quoting from Soompi on Tuesday January 31, 2023, according to a report from representatives of the Management SOOP agency which houses actor Nam Joo Hyuk, they said that the actor would soon fulfill his mandatory military duties as a military police officer . 

"It is true that Nam Joo Hyuk has been accepted into the military police academy. He will carry out his mandatory military duties and join the police officers on March 20, 2023," said Management SOOP. Previously, Management SOOP had also reported that the actor had recently completed a series of shooting for his latest drama project titled 'Vigilante' while awaiting notification from the military police. 

He has also taken a break after filming and made a number of preparations before carrying out his mandatory military duties. Nam Joo Hyuk is known to have registered with the Military Police Group of the Capital Defense Command in May 2022.  After officially leaving in March 2023, Nam Joo Hyuk will receive basic military training at a military training center for approximately five weeks. Then he will be sent to where he will serve as a military police officer. 

Meanwhile, Nam Joo Hyuk is an actor and model from South Korea who was born on February 22, 1994. He started his career as a model by appearing in a number of music videos, before making his debut on the small screen in 2014. Nam Joo Hyuk, made his acting debut through 'The Idle Mermaid', and successfully made his name as an actor through his appearance in the Korean drama 'Who Are You: School 2015'. 

Since then, Nam Joo Hyuk has actively starred in a number of Korean drama titles as the main actor in a number of popular Korean dramas such as 'Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-Joo' (2016), 'The Bride of Habaek' (2017), 'The Light in Your Eyes ' (2019), 'The School Nurse Files' (2020), 'Start Up' (2020), and 'Twenty Five, Twenty One' (2022). Fans also pray that the actor can complete his military service duties smoothly and return in good health.
