The latest Korean drama that aired on tvN titled ' The Heavenly Idol ' successfully captured the attention of viewers at home with a promising initial  rating. Quoting from Soompi on Thursday February 16, 2023, based on a report from 'Nielsen Korea', the Korean drama 'The Heavenly Idol' won a satisfactory rating on its first episode broadcast on February 15, 2023 yesterday. 

'The Heavenly Idol' managed to record an average rating at the national level of 3.098 percent. Showed quite a promising start, and high public interest in the drama. 'The Heavenly Idol' is a Korean drama based on the popular webtoon story of the same title. This is a fantasy drama starring actor Kim Min Kyu and actor Go Bo Gyeol as the main characters. 

Kim Min Kyu plays a high priest from another world called Rembary, who suddenly wakes up in the body of an idol named Woo Yeon Woo, who is the visual center of a failed idol group called Wild Animals. Go Bo Gyeol plays Kim Dal, Woo Yeon Woo's No.1 fan. 

When he finds the idol insisting on claiming to be the high priestess of Rembary in the fifth year of his career, he decides to become the manager of the group Wild Animal in order to save the idol. Not only carrying an interesting fantasy story, the Korean drama 'The Heavenly Idol' also offers exciting comedy and romance genres for viewers at home. 

Meanwhile, fans can't wait to watch the continuation of the next episodes and dig into the conflicts and other interesting plots. The chemistry and synergy of the main players is also an important point that viewers at home are most looking forward to. The Korean drama 'The Heavenly Idol' is also available on the online streaming platform Viki with English subtitles for fans outside of South Korea.

Meanwhile, airing on the same day slot as the Korean drama 'The Heavenly Idol', the Korean drama produced by ENA station entitled 'Strangers Again' won a national average rating of 1.3 percent. 'Strangers Again' experienced a drop in rating from the previous episode, which managed to record an average rating at the national level of 1.7 percent.
