Stray Kids' Hyunjin Donates 100 million Won for Earthquake Victims in Turkey and Syria

Launching from Naver News.com, Hyunjin, a member of the South Korean boy group Stray Kids, was recently reported to have donated 100 million won to the victims of the earthquakes in Turkey and Syria. On February 16, 2023, the organization The Promise said that Hyunjin Stray Kids participated in emergency relief for earthquake victims in Turkey and Syria by donating 100 million won of his own money.

Hyunjin's donation will be used to restore earthquake damage in Turkey and Syria as well as provide emergency relief materials for the victims. Kim Dong-hoon, who is the executive director of the organization The Promise, said, " The victims of Turkey and Syria are currently struggling against the cold weather and lack of resources on the ground. 

And we sincerely thank you for the warm donation from Stray Kids member Hyunjin. We are also grateful because we can intensively support damage recovery and relief activities for earthquake victims in Turkey and Syria." Kim Dong Hoon concluded. 

Meanwhile, The Promise, which has obtained special NGO consultancy status from the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), is an international aid organization that assists social communities in the fields of education, water sanitation, income generation, and disaster damage support projects. As additional information, Hyunjin and Stray Kids are currently busy with their second world tour activities. 

Previously, on February 11 and 12 2023, they successfully completed their encore performance at the Saitama Super Arena in Japan. After that, Stray Kids will hold a solo concert in Melbourne, Australia, on February 17 and 18, 2023, followed by Sydney, Australia, on February 21 to 22, 2023, then on February 25 and 26, they will hold their first Japanese dome show them at the Kyocera Dome in Osaka.

One week later, Stray Kids will be holding concerts in Manila, Philippines on March 11 and 12, 2023, Atlanta, USA from March 22 to 23, 2023, and Fort Worth, USA from March 26 to 27, 2023. Finally, on March 31 and April 2 2023, Stray Kids will hold an encore concert in Los Angeles, USA, which will take place at the Bank of California Stadium.
