A director from Thailand, New Siwaj Sawatmaneekul, is back with a new project in early 2023 this year. Collaborating with GMMTV, New Siwaj worked on a drama called A Boss and A Babe. Previously, New Siwaj managed to produce several Thai drama titles with the boyslove genre which went viral. Call it the Star and Sky Series, Love By Chance, 7 Project, Until We Meet Again, and Between Us.
A Boss and A Babe is an adaptation of a novel entitled Khob Wanni Loek Kan Pi Mai. A Boss and A Babe tells about the love story of a boss and his apprentice. Cher is a gamer with dreams of exploring the world of e-sports as a talented athlete. In his final year at university, his dream was put on hold due to his mandatory internship.
He gets an internship in the position of a game company that is on the verge of bankruptcy. Here she catches the eye of her young and handsome boss, Gun. This started when Cher dared to express her opinion during the morning meeting. Throughout his career no one dared to go against him. This resulted in Gun often ordering Cher to do strange things for him.
In the end Gun started to soften up and get closer to Cher. They try to do new things together, cook and eat together, drive in remote villages, and many other things. Slowly Gun changed, this fierce boss started to change his mind and became more than a "boss" for Cher. The Thai drama A Boss and A Babe will be the venue for the reunion of Force Jiratchapong as Gun and Book Kasidet as Cher as the two main characters.
