South Korean girl group, TWICE has once again gained recognition in the international music scene. They were rewarded with a prestigious award at the 2023 Billboard Women in Music Awards. On January 30, 2023, Billboard officially announced the return of the Billboard Women in Music Awards.
This awards ceremony is dedicated to the most influential female musicians in the world of music. TWICE is confirmed to be attending the awards ceremony. Not only that, they will also receive a Breakthrough Award as the only K-Pop musicians this year.
Apart from TWICE, the 2023 Billboard Women in Music Awards will also award the Visionary Award to Lana Del Rey, the Icon Award to Ivy Queen, the Impact Award to Becky G, and many others. Moonlight Sunrise debuts at position 84 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. This is TWICE's second song to enter the chart after previously achieved by The Feels. This achievement also made TWICE the fourth K-Pop group to make it onto the Billboard Hot 100 chart with more than two songs. Previously, this record was also held by BTS, BLACKPINK, and NewJeans.
