EXO's Kai has just officially released his third mini album titled 'Rover' on March 13 2023. To celebrate the comeback of his third mini album 'Rover', Kai sat down with GQ Korea magazine to conduct a number of interviews regarding his latest album, EXO group activity plans, to unexpected goals in life that not many fans know about.
Quoting from Koreaboo on Sunday March 19, 2023, Kai EXO successfully made his solo debut in 2020 with the hit single 'Mmmh'. He then made his first comeback through the second mini album titled 'Peaches' in 2021. More than a year later, Kai EXO finally returned to greet fans through his third mini album titled 'Rover' which was just released on March 13, 2023.
Discussing his latest mini album, Kai explained the concept of 'freedom' which is the main theme. "The main theme of this album is not to be burdened or feel pressured, and to try to find freedom," GQ magazine quoted. Responding to this, Kai said that he was trying not to stick to one genre and trying to present himself in an unexpected way through this new album. "I tried hard to find what I want to do. I think that is freedom," said Kai.
To find freedom within himself, Kai tries to go with the flow and find happiness through small things. However, in fact it is sometimes not easy to do. "I think feeling happiness through small things is true happiness. However, to feel that, you need great effort," explained Kai. The idol who was born in 1994 also shared a big wish or goal in his life that so far not been known by many fans, namely to live abroad for a long time.
"One of the biggest goals in my life is to live in London for one year. That is my main goal in life," said Kai. Even though it is one of the main goals that he wants to achieve, for now Kai is still focusing on his solo career and is also looking forward to the EXO group comeback which of course has been long awaited by fans.
