Through its social media on Thursday March 2, 2023, Kep1er announced that it would make a comeback April 10, 2023. The girl group formed by the Mnet survival program 'Girls Planet 999' has finally made a comeback after 6 months since their last album. Previously, Kep1er released their third mini album entitled ' TROUBLESHOOTER ' on October 13, 2022. 

South Korean media YTN stated that the album managed to sell more than 1 million copies cumulatively. The song 'We Fresh' which is the main song in the album 'TROUBLESHOOTER' has been listened to 6.3 million times on Spotify. Meanwhile, the music video for 'We Fresh' has been watched 24 million times on YouTube. 

Yujin, Xiaoting, Mashiro, Chaehyun, Dayeon, Hikaru, Bahiyyih, Youngeun, and Yeseo showed their progress since their debut on January 3, 2022. Kep1er debuted with the mini album FIRST IMPACT which sold over 200,000 copies within a week of its release. Through this promotion, Kep1er became the girl group with the highest sales of debut albums at that time.

Kep1er also managed to get a Platinum certificate from the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ). The certificate marks the song 'WA DA DA', the main song in the album FIRST IMPACT which has reached 100 million streams in Japan. Kep1er's second mini album ' DOUBLAST ' has sold over 260,000 copies in just 5 days since its release, beating the previous album.

Meanwhile, Kep1er will be releasing his second Japanese single 'FLY-BY' on March 15, 2023. The first Japanese single entitled 'FLY-UP' has been released on September 7, 2022 along with Kep1er's debut in Japan. The nine members of Kep1er will also be holding their first arena tour from May to June. 

Kepler will hold 'Kep1er JAPAN CONCERT TOUR 2023' concerts 6 times in 3 cities in Japan. Kep1er will greet his fans at Yoyogi National Stadium, Tokyo on May 20 and 21 2023. Then continue to Aichi Sky Expo - Hall A, Aichi on June 2 and 3 2023. Finally at Kobe World Memorial Hall on June 10 and 11 2023.
