On March 22, 2023, one of the dancers of tutting (a dance style that involves making geometric shapes with the body) and former dance teacher of Sung Han Bin named Spella clarified the photo. He said that the photo was taken for the purposes of their profile photo for the tutting dance group. Meanwhile, Sung Han Bin is a former member of the dance group. Spella shared, "At that time, Sung Han Bin was a member of our dance group.
The photo we took is related to the group's profile photo." He added, "We wanted to feature pearl initials on our faces, as well as exude a pure image. So we wore tank tops and exposed the shoulders and neck." Regarding the formation of the photo, Spella explained that Sung Han Bin was the only male member in the photo so he was placed on the sidelines.
"Sung Han Bin is the only male member in the group. Instead of putting him in the middle, we made him stand on the side so he can blend into group photos easily," explained Spella. He continued, "If Sung Han Bin were the only member who wore a top or tank top like us, we thought it would look even more strange and attract attention.
So, we decided that only he was not wearing a top when taking photos." Meanwhile, Sung Han Bin is currently participating as a contestant on the idol survival event 'Boys Planet'. He is a trainee from STUDIO GL1DE representative. In the first elimination round, Sung Han Bin successfully took first place out of the 51 contestants who are still currently standing.
