On Thursday March 23, 2023 it was reported that NMIXX's Sullyoon would be joining NCT's Jungwoo and Stray Kids' Lee Know as the permanent MCs of MBC's program " Music Core ." The report also said that Sullyoon will be a special MC on the March 25 episode before officially joining as the new MC.
Launching MyDaily, a representative from MBC "Music Core" also responded to the news by confirming that Sullyoon would be a special MC this weekend, but he had not been confirmed as a permanent MC. They said, "(Sullyoon) will be this week's special MC. However, a new (fixed) MC has not been confirmed yet."
However, if the news that Sullyoon will become the permanent MC of "Music Core" is true, then he will replace MC Kim Min Ju who stepped down from his position last January after more than two years as the host of the program. Meanwhile, Sullyoon and NMIXX recently made a comeback on March 20 with the release of their first mini album "expérgo."

Not long after its release, this comeback album has already reached the No. 1 ranking. 1 on the iTunes Top Albums chart in 8 regions including Indonesia.
In addition, according to data released by Hanteo Chart, this mini album also managed to sell 405,580 copies on the first day of its release. With this achievement, NMIXX has broken their personal record previously set by the single album vol.2 "ENTWURF" which sold around 250,000 units. Not only that, the album also became the third biggest selling K-Pop girl group album on the first day of this year.
On the other hand, NMIXX recently also announced that they would be holding their first overseas showcase tour "NICE TO MIXX YOU" from next May.
