For the second time, BTS' Jimin has successfully brought home the winning trophy for his newest song " Like Crazy." This time he won on Music Bank which is broadcast today, Friday March 31, 2023. In the last week's episode of March hosted by the MC duo Eunchae LE SSERAFIM and Lee Chae Min, BTS' Jimin with "Like Crazy" and NMIXX with "Love Me Like This" competed against each other for first place.
Based on the final announcement, Jimin is known to have succeeded in occupying the number one position by obtaining a total of 9,198 points. The BTS member received 285 points for digital singles. The broadcast frequency reaches 2,100 points. Then, for voting K-Pop fans get 1,426 points. Then for album sales, Jimin won 5,295 points. Finally, for social media, it gets 92 points.
Underneath, NMIXX followed with a score of 7,068 points. The score includes digital singles with 498 points, broadcast frequency with 3,022 points, K-Pop fan voting with 847 points, album sales with 2,592 points, and social media with 109 points. This win is the second win for the song "Like Crazy." Previously, Jimin managed to get his first trophy on M Countdown on March 30 2023.
After being announced as the winner this week, Jimin then delivered his victory speech. His speech opened with a thank you addressed to his fans, ARMY. "Thank you very much ARMY! Honestly this album means a lot to me, and I am very grateful to ARMY who have given their love," said BTS' Jimin as quoted from the Instagram account @infobts.ina2.
Next, he thanked those who helped him in this comeback . He also promised to continue to work hard in the future. "I also want to thank the staff and composers who have worked hard with me, even though this is not enough and it's a bit late. I will also work harder in the future. Thank you for watching and please give lots of love to BTS! Thank you," he continued.
Meanwhile, this week's Music Bank was enlivened by performances from Jimin BTS, BamBam GOT7, MAMAMOO+, NMIXX, Kim Jae Hwan, CRAVITY, Billlie, KINGDOM, TRENDZ, CSR, xikers, CRAXY, ICHILLIN', and Rocking doll Ahri.
