On Sunday April 9, 2023, Chinese actor Zhang Jin uploaded two photos via his personal Weibo account with the caption "When it comes to action scenes, the inevitable still happens." In the first photo, Zhang Jin appears to be in a hospital ward with his leg covered in bandages and wounds on his hands.

In another photo, Zhang Jin, who is sleeping in a hospital bed, looks like he has received an IV. He breathes with the help of an oxygen tube. Even though he appeared to be quite badly injured, Zhang Jin was still able to pose for the camera. Zhang Jin's left leg is suspected of having a fracture. It can be seen from the second photo uploaded by Zhang Jin.

In the photo, there are two large bags of ice flanking his bandaged left leg. This seems to be done to reduce swelling. Under Zhang Jin's upload, many netizens left various comments. Some netizens prayed for the actor's recovery. Others said they were sad because they won't be able to see Zhang Jin doing action scenes in the near future.

Quoted from NetEase, Zhang Jin himself is known to be very total during filming. Previously, he had almost suffered a serious injury during the shooting process for the film Wolf Pack. While filming one of the scenes, he was nearly stabbed in the eye by a knife. At that time, the tip of the knife was only about one centimeter away from his eyes.

Zhang Jin is said to have practiced martial arts since he was a child. In the national martial arts circle, he can be regarded as an elite athlete. No matter how many injuries he suffered while practicing martial arts, Zhang Jin never had any regrets. Over the years, he had been injured several times while practicing martial arts.

If the wound is severe, the whole body will ache to the point that it will be difficult for him to sleep. But after recovering, he will return to totality in carrying out action scenes. Zhang Jin, who is now 48 years old, is married and has three children consisting of two daughters and one son. He has been married to Hong Kong singer and actress Ada Choi since 2008.
