Quoting Soompi on Saturday April 22, 2023, the popular South Korean girl group from Starship Entertainment, IVE , won their fifth win for their newest song " I AM " on the weekly music show Show! Music Core. Show! Music Core or commonly known as Music Core itself is a weekly music program from South Korea which is broadcast by MBC every Saturday at 15.15 KST.
In this latest episode hosted by Lee Know of STRAYKIDS, Jungwoo of NCT, and Sullyoon of NMIXX , there are three candidates who are nominated as winners for this week. They are JISOO BLACKPINK with the solo song "FLOWER", JIMIN BTS "Like Crazy", and IVE with the song "I AM."
According to the announcement given at the end of the event, IVE's latest song "I AM" is known to have succeeded in coming out as the winner by obtaining a total of 9,668 points. The song earned 6,000 points for digital and album sales. For SNS and broadcast scores, they won 1,800 points.
Furthermore, IVE received 868 points for the viewer committee and global pre-vote. Then, for text live voting and app live voting a total of 1,000 points. Talking a bit about the song "I AM", the song "I AM" is the title song of IVE's first studio album which was released on April 10, 2023.
Then, for the song "FLOWER" belonging to BLACKPINK's JISOO followed in second place with a total score of 5,556 points. The score includes 3,910 points for digital and album sales, 751 points for SNS and broadcast, 683 points for viewer committee and global pre-vote, and 212 points for text live voting and app live voting.
Then in third place was Jimin BTS with the song "Like Crazy" which scored 3,368 points. The score includes 1,921 points for digital and album sales, 166 points for SNS and broadcast, 608 points for viewer committee and global pre-vote, and 673 points for text live voting and app live voting.
Meanwhile, Music Core's latest broadcast this week was enlivened by various cool performances from Alice, CSR, Drippin, Giuk (of Onewe), IVE, Kep1er, LeeChaeyeon, LeeGikwang (of Highlight), Park Jihoon, Tempest, and Yeeun. Once again, congrats to IVE on their win at Music Core this week!
