According to a statement from the Twitter account @AsiaEnhypen, the filming location was not in Korea, but in Poland, at Krzytopór Castle in Ujazd, Poland to be precise. The castle was built in the 1600s and was the largest of that period.

The music video for Bite Me has a dark atmosphere with elements of the vampire world that can be seen through the shooting locations, the clothes worn by all the members, and props such as coffins. The combination of dark filming locations and properties all come together to form a typical vampire feel that is cold and gloomy.

At the showcase event held the day before the release, Sunghoon explained that Bite Me is a story about a love story. He revealed that the song is about the relationship between a boy and a girl who are connected by blood.
The idol who is also a former figure skater stated that the boy wanted the girl to bite him, as a sign of great love and as a sacrifice he was willing to make. This is reflected in the lyrics of the song which reveal that the young man believes that the girl will save him and invites him to leave a mark on his neck. The story in the song Bite Me and the Dark Blood album has a direct connection to the webtoon entitled Dark Moon which was released in January 2022. This webtoon tells the story of a girl named Sooha, who is often mistaken for a vampire because of her super strength.
