Mijoo is a Korean idol who debuted in 2014 with Baby Soul, Jiae, Jisoo, Kei, Jin, Sujeong, and Yein through a girl group known as Lovelyz. The group members who were cared for by the Woolling Entertainment agency then decided not to renew their contract with the company after seven years of working together.
Except for Baby Soul, all members of Lovelyz have decided to focus on their own careers as individuals. After terminating his contract with his former agency in 2021, the 1994-born idol joined Antenna Entertainment as a solo artist. While joining the company, Mijoo was more famous for her profession as a character who often appears on television thanks to her contribution to tvN's Sixth Sense for three seasons.
In 2021, he joined fellow Sixth Sense cast member, comedian Yoo Jae Suk, on MBC Hangout With Yoo and became a regular cast member. Unique personality and attractive visuals have made Mijoo managed to get a lot of attention from the audience.
Mijoo was preoccupied with various television programs that came to her so much that she didn't have time to release any songs for a while. Until finally the agency announced last April about the artist, namely Mijoo, who will debut as a solo singer after nine years of career.
“Movie Star” is a song about someone wondering if they could become a star.
