Surprising fans, BTS' Jungkook will be releasing a solo digital single ' Seven ' and is preparing to release a solo album in the future. Through BTS' social media on June 29 2023, BIGHIT MUSIC announced that Jungkook will release his solo digital single 'Seven' on July 14, 2023 at 13.00 KST or 11.00 WIB.
Following this announcement, Jungkook then greeted his fans through a live broadcast on Weverse on June 30, 2023 at 00.38 WIB. Jungkook answered the concerns of fans who were looking forward to his solo album. "I'll tell you that I'm working on a (solo) album too, I just wanted to let you know.
Because I'm working on an album, so don't feel sad if it's ('Seven') a single, "Jungkook said to calm fans. It was explained that 'Seven' is a 'summer song' which will be released with a cheerful melody and full of summer nuance. Fans will be able to look forward to Jeon Jungkook's charm through his solo digital single this time.
BIGHIT MUSIC said, “As Jungkook starts his official solo activities, we ask you to give maximum anticipation and support for his digital single and many other activities to come.” BIGHIT MUSIC also released 'Seven' cover photos along with the announcement.
