BTS gave special gifts to ARMY on their 10th debut anniversary which was celebrated through BTS Festa 2023. After previously releasing a special single titled Take Two, BTS has now released a live performance video of the song. Seven complete BTS members sit in a studio with a background splashed with purplish gradations.
V, Jimin, Suga, Jungkook, Jin, RM, and j-Hope sat in order to sing a song containing the members' messages for ARMY. Take Two is a song produced by Suga with El Capitxn. In the process of writing the lyrics, RM and j-Hope participated so that the lyrics of this song are closer to BTS and ARMY.
Take Two features relaxing melodies and rapping. Mixing the voices of BTS members with acoustic instruments, combined with lyrics that describe the gratitude of the seven BTS personnel to ARMY. In the lyrics too, they promise that the days of BTS and ARMY together in the future will be even more beautiful.
BTS seemed to be getting into and having fun singing this song in their live performance. Of course, the impression of the song will be even more pronounced when you see the members singing directly pouring out their feelings and contents. BTS Festa will still continue after the release of Take Two.
They plan to hold a large-scale event titled BTS 10th Anniversary FESTA @ Yeouido on June 17, 2023. Through the Weverse platform and their personal social media, RM, Jimin, Suga, V, and Jin wrote about BTS' 10th birthday celebration. RM wrote that he, who is now entering the age of 30, feels very different from who he was 10 years ago.
"Right now the old me feels like a stranger," he wrote. "Thanks to ARMY and the many people who have helped us. We had a special experience that we will never be able to have again," he continued. Jin wrote a little regret for not making more content for ARMY before enlistment.
"I also want to provide you with 10th debut anniversary content, but it's a shame I can't join. I should have recorded more content before conscripting. I don't know how to express this regret," Jin wrote. V reminisced about many moments over the past 10 years. He also thanked ARMY and the BTS members who have been a part of his fond memories for a decade.
"Borahae. ARMY forever. BTS forever," wrote V. Suga wrote briefly in the Instagram caption, "Take Two. Thank you everyone, I love you!" Jimin wrote, "All of you who make us feel this happiness should also feel happy and love too, right?" in his letter. "Let's be happy together for a long time starting today," he continued.
