The animated film Elemental tells the story of two central characters with different elements, namely the fire element named Ember Lumen and the water element named Wade Ripple. Both of them live in a city called Element City which is home to various types of elements ranging from water, fire, air, and earth.
Even though the residents of the city are different, they can coexist peacefully. Ember Lumen has a desire to continue her father's grocery store business. This fire element woman has a strong, stubborn, and passionate character. Meanwhile, as a water element, Wade Ripple, who works as a health inspector, has a calmer character, is easy going, fun, and whiny.
Unexpectedly, Ember and Wade fall in love with each other in an accidental meeting. However, because the two of them have very different differences, they find it difficult to be together. Moreover, the regulations in the city of Element City do not allow residents of different elements to unite.
The fire and water elements also try to find similarities between the two. They also have additional jobs to bring together their two very different families. Ember and Wade are also faced with chaos in the town where they live. Will Wade and Ember overcome these obstacles?
