Bloodhounds tells the story of Kim Gun Woo (played by Woo Do Hwan), a boxer with a promising talent. Narrated Gun Woo's mother is in debt and gets terror from Kim Myung Gil (played by Park Sung Woong), a very powerful and famous moneylender with a money lending business.
To pay off his mother's debt, Kim Gun Woo decides to quit boxing and starts working for CEO Choi (played by Heo Jun Ho). CEO Choi used to be a legendary figure in the money lending business. However, he suddenly disappeared without a trace for a while. One day, CEO Choi appears and starts lending money without charging any interest to people in need.
Besides hiring Kim Gun Woo, CEO Choi also hired Kim Hyun Joo (played by Kim Sae Ron) and Choi Woo Jin (played by Lee Sang Yi) who are the same as Gun Woo, who are boxers. Gun Woo and Woo Jin first met as opponents in a boxing match. They quickly become close because they have interests in the same field.
