TXT will be preparing for a comeback with a digital single. In particular, this comeback will be their collaboration with OneRepublic personnel and well-known writer Ryan Tedder. TXT's comeback plan had become a topic of discussion on social media before BIGHIT MUSIC's management finally opened their voices about this.
Management justifies this plan by targeting a July 2023 release. "TXT is currently preparing a new song with preparations for a July release. We will announce more detailed information about this later," said BIGHIT MUSIC's official statement.
Previously, HYBE's boss, Bang Si Hyuk, leaked that TXT was indeed working on their latest music with Ryan Tedder. They met at a TXT concert in Los Angeles last month and had a chat backstage. The meeting immediately made Ryan Tedder and TXT close. He even joked on social media that now he is a new member of TXT.
Bang Si Hyuk called the TXT project with Ryan Tedder something bigger and bigger than anything TXT had done before. Obviously this adds to the anticipation of fans waiting for the latest music from the idol. Ryan Tedder is already a famous songwriter behind popular songs from Adele (Rumour Has It) to Taylor Swift (I Know Places).
He was also the figure behind Beyoncé's hit 'Halo' and Leona Lewis's Bleeding Love. Meanwhile, TXT recently released a mini album titled The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION in January earlier this year. Their title track Sugar Rush Ride is well received among K-Pop fans and listeners.
