On July 15, 2023, the girl group BLACKPINK held their BORN PINK World Tour encore concert in Paris, France, at the Stade De France to be precise. Adapting from Kbizoom, through this concert event, BLACKPINK became the first K-pop female artist to hold a concert in a European stadium.
This concert is planned to be on a larger scale than the BLACKPINK concert that was held at the Accor Arena in Paris in December last year. With just one show, BLACKPINK managed to attract 55,000 viewers, demonstrating their status and influence in the global music market.
BLACKPINK took the stage and started the concert with the song "Pink Venom", which immediately excited the audience. Following their mega-hits "How You Like That", "Pretty Savage", and "Whistle", BLACKPINK continued to showcase a diverse track list that showcased each member's charms, including captivating solo performances.
Thanks to the fans' overwhelming support, the atmosphere in the venue was lively from start to finish, even during the encore. The lavish stage set to suit a large stadium, the band's thunderous sound, and the amazing performances of the BLACKPINK members created a perfect synergy, bringing thrilling excitement to every moment.
There was also a dance challenge session, where fans covered the choreography of BLACKPINK's songs perfectly and sang along, creating a lively atmosphere. At the end of the concert, a fantastic fireworks display adorned the Parisian night sky, making the concert even more spectacular.
BLACKPINK is currently on their world tour, “BORN PINK,” and has managed to attract around 1.5 million viewers worldwide. Starting in August, they will visit various locations in the United States such as New Jersey, Las Vegas, San Francisco and Los Angeles. Meanwhile, BLACKPINK has just become the first artist to surpass 90 million subscribers on YouTube since opening their channel in June 2016.
The number of their fans has increased since they held the "BORN PINK" concert tour which started in October 2022. Through the various records they have printed, BLACKPINK's popularity as a K-Pop star is increasingly global and shows very high growth.
