ATEEZ's Jongho recently had to fly suddenly to South Korea while in Los Angeles. This was done by management after Jongho complained of excruciating pain in the leg which had previously been injured. Management also said Jongho needed surgery.

KQ Entertainment continued to report that because of his illness, Jongho will not be able to participate in ATEEZ activities until he has fully recovered. The ATEEZ member finally had to be on hiatus for some time. Now management is giving the latest news regarding Jongho. 

Through its official statement, KQ Entertainment again mentioned the operation that Jongho had to undergo. In addition, they also mentioned that after the operation, Jongho had to undergo intensive care. Jongho's fans must be patient to be able to see his appearance on stage again with ATEEZ. The following is the official statement from management:

"Hello this is KQ Entertainment. The following is an announcement regarding the health condition of ATEEZ member Jongho and his future schedule. When Jongho was undergoing treatment and recovery from his leg injury, it turned out that he needed to do a thorough examination. 

As a result, Jongho immediately stopped his overseas activities and returned to Korea to receive treatment from a specialist. After the examination was carried out, the doctor recommended surgery and intensive care for Jongho in the area of ​​his injury. Therefore, ATEEZ will continue activities with seven members while Jongho is undergoing rehabilitation after surgery. 

We ask for your understanding in our decision to put Jongho's health first. We will update once he is ready to return to group schedules. Thank You." ATEEZ will next be performing in Mexico City on August 23 for their THE FELLOWSHIP: BREAK THE WALL tour. It was confirmed that Jongho would not participate on that stage.
