NCT's Jaehyun will soon be returning to greet fans through his newest single, for the NCT LAB project. Jaehyun is scheduled to release a single titled Horizon on August 8, 2023, at 18:00 KST. NCT LAB itself is a digital single project under the auspices of SM STATION which is a place for NCT members to hone their musical talents, and release songs they wrote themselves.
Both the release of the song was carried out solo or as a unit. Quoting from Naver on Friday August 4, 2023, for the song Horizon which will be performed by Jaehyun. The idol participated directly in writing the lyrics, as well as the composition of the song.
Horizon is an impressive R&B genre song, with Rose's scintillating keyboard, combined with the sound of rhythmic guitar riffs, soft beats and melodies. Jaehyun specially wrote the lyrics and composition of the song, adding an emotional and special side to the song.
Regarding his song Horizon, Jaehyun said that the song was inspired by the beautiful scenery he saw when he got on a plane and was about to take off one day. Jaehyun also admits that the lyrics and cheerful melody in the song remind the idol born in February 1997 of images beyond the bright horizon, which will bring joy to anyone who listens to it.
For the release of the song Horizon on August 8, 2023, it will be carried out on a number of online music platforms. Including Melon, Flo, Genie, iTunes, Apple Music, Spotify, QQ Music, Kugou Music, Kuwo MUsic, and many more. Meanwhile, Horizon will be Jaehyun's second solo single for the NCT LAB project, after previously releasing a song titled Forever Only.
