South Korean actor Yang Se Jong made his first comeback by starring in the Korean drama Doona!, after he completed his military service which was carried out on May 22, 2022.
Drama Doona! is an adaptation of the popular webtoon entitled Lee Do Na! which tells the story of a romance between a former idol and a student from an ordinary background. So, while waiting for the drama Doona! airing, let's take a peek at what Korean dramas Yang Se Jong plays!
1.Dr. Romantic
Korean Drama Dr. Romantic season one was Yang Se Jong's debut in the world of acting. This drama follows the story of the lives of doctors and nurses in a hospital in a remote town, called Doldam.
In Dr. Romantic Yang Se Jong plays the character Do In Bum, a doctor and son of the owner of Geosan Hospital. Even though he is handsome, intelligent and rich, he has to experience unrequited love.
2. Temperature of Love
In 2017, Yang Se Jong played in the drama series entitled Temperature of Love, which was his debut as a main actor. He plays the character On Jung Seon, a chef from a five-star restaurant. Apart from being a chef, On Jung Seon is also active in writing on food blogs.
He is also said to have fallen in love with a writer named Lee Hyun Soo (Seo Hyon Jin). Until finally they decided to have a relationship, even though there were many obstacles and challenges faced in their relationship.
3. Thirty But Seventeen
Thirty But Seventeen follows the story of a woman named Woo Seo Ri (Shin Hye Sun). He had an accident and fell into a coma. Woo Seo Ri then woke up after being in a coma for 13 years. This made it difficult for him to accept that he was 30 years old.
On the other hand, there is a man named Gong Woo Jin, he has been traumatized for 13 years so it is difficult for him to have a relationship. Until fate brought the two of them together in the house currently left by Gong Woo Jin, which apparently once belonged to Woo Seo Ri's parents.
4. Doona!
This year, Yang Se Jong is back after completing his military service by starring in the series Doona!, which will star opposite Bae Suzy. In this drama he is trusted to play the character of Lee Won Joon, a student with a warm personality.
Lee Won Joon is involved with a famous pop idol who decided to retire early from the world of entertainment, named Lee Do Na. Until finally the two of them were entangled in a romantic relationship.
