With this, the K-pop idol has now set a new benchmark on Spotify, leaving American pop star Miley Cyrus behind. Until September 25, 2023, Jungkook held the record as the first K-pop soloist to surpass 700 million streams on Spotify with Seven.
On October 14, 2023, chart data revealed that BTS's golden meal had reached a new milestone in the platform's history. Talking about numbers, Seven took exactly 92 days to reach the 900 million stream club, while Miley Cyrus' social media sensation Flowers previously broke the record in 93 days.
