Haechan and several other NCT Dream members officially opened their new Weibo account to communicate with fans in China. Celebrating the opening of his new account, Haechan also sent a greeting video to fans and informed them that he had opened a new Weibo account.
Quoting from the Instagram account @haechanoonaa on Tuesday July 18, 2023, Haechan greeted fans in Chinese. In the video he shared, Haechan said, "Weibo friends, I'm here. I'm Haechan." The idol born in 2000 continued, "You know that I'm into photography recently? I will share a lot of my photos on Weibo.

Hearing the news that Haechan opened a Weibo account certainly made the fans happy, especially those in China, now they can interact more easily with the idol. However, the fans actually focused wrongly and felt annoyed with Haechan's Chinese pronunciation when greeting fans via video.
