K-pop girl group 2NE1 shocked the public after being caught reuniting to celebrate the group's 15th anniversary. The four members of 2NEI showed off their moments together which managed to shock fans on social media on Friday May 17, 2024.
CL, Sandara Park, Minzy, and Park Bom together uploaded their photos and expressed their gratitude for the love and affection of fans who have supported 2NEI for the past 15 years. The leader, CL, calls 2NEI a home that has given her many things in her life.
"2NE1 has always been a home that makes me feel free to love, play, express, produce something, shine, combine something, connect and share with many people," wrote CL. "Hopefully today, 2NE1 can make you remember to feel your positive energy. Thank you, NOLZA," she continued via his latest upload on Instagram.
On the other hand, Park Bom and Sandara Park wrote about 2NEI's 15th anniversary with fans through photo captions on social media. Meanwhile, Minzy was seen changing her personal Instagram profile picture with a photo she took at the reunion.
This moment was warmly welcomed by fans who are familiarly called BLACKJACK. They are also celebrating their 15th anniversary and hope that the photos uploaded by the members will be a sign of a comeback for the future.
2NE1 last made a comeback with a single entitled Goodbye in 2017. This single came after 2NEI released the Korean and Japanese versions of the album Crush, and held a concert entitled 2NEI World Tour [All or Nothing in Seoul] to 2NEI Best Collection (Korea Edition) in 2014 ago.
2NEI made its debut in 2009 and has successfully gathered many fans abroad. In fact, in 2012, 2NEI became the first K-pop girl group to go on a concert tour around the world. However, 2NE1 began to experience a split in 2016.
The split began when Bom decided to go on hiatus in 2014 due to a drug scandal that dragged down her name. Then, Minzy followed by leaving 2NE1. Some time later, YG Entertainment as the agency announced the disbandment of 2NE1. Meanwhile, the members continue their respective careers at different agencies.
2NEI once surprised the public by being one of the performers at Coachella 2022 in California, USA, on Saturday May 16, 2024. At this music festival, 2NEI performed the song I Am the Best which immediately became a public conversation on social media.
