aespa's Winter, recently appeared with Giselle to give 16th birthday greetings to SHINee. These two beautiful idols were also asked which SHINee  song they liked the most Without hesitation, Giselle answered that 'Replay' was a song that had a special place in her heart.

"I have previously discussed this and I will mention it again this time. 'Replay' is the SHINee senior song that I like the most, as well as my favorite SM artist song," he said, quoted via YouTube @SHINee on Saturday, May 25, 2024. Winter also responded to this with a similar opinion.  "Yeah, 'Replay' is really beautiful and I really like it too.

" Winter then shared his experience while watching SMTOWN. "In fact, I think SHINee seniors were the coolest artists during the SMTOWN concert. When I saw them on stage, I felt like my chest was going to explode (because of enthusiasm and fascination)," he said. Giselle also agreed with Winter's opinion.

Then when asked to write a letter to his senior, the Japanese idol looked surprised. "What? 16 years? Is it really 16 years? Oh we (aespa) are still babies," he said. The two of them continued the letter they were writing while decorating the paper with colorful stickers and markers. Then in the middle of his writing activities, Winter said a spoiler.

"Oh, 'Replay' is the minimum song that you have to be able to sing when training. All trainees know this song well. This is a leak from me for you," added the owner of the name Kim Minjeong. Furthermore, 'Replay' is SHINee's debut song which was released in 2008 and to date has been covered by many idols on various occasions.

This song tells the story of a boy who likes a girl who is older than him. This song displays a bright boyish side, with cool dancing, and addictive vocals. 'Replay' is also suitable and relevant for listeners who are experiencing first love, as SHINee felt at that time.

After going through 3 generations of Kpop in the 2000s, 2010s and 2020s, 'Replay' still feels trendy to continue listening to. It's not surprising that this song is one of the best debut songs of all time and made them the first Kpop group to win the Rookie Grand Slam title.
