Recently President Joko Widodo established a Public Housing Savings or Tapera contribution policy. In this program, as stated in Government Regulation Number 21 of 2024, the amount of Tapera contributions is 3% of the salary or wages of worker participants and income for self-employed participants.
It was further explained that the Tapera contribution coverage will be divided into two, namely employers at 0.5% and workers at 2.5%. Recently, the President of the Republic of Indonesia's policy has had its pros and cons. One of those who commented on this policy was comic Kiky Saputri . Through his personal X or Twitter account, @kikysaputrii criticized the government. "Tapera. People's Housing Savings. Kiky Saputri's short but spicy tweet actually backfired on him. Suddenly, many netizens criticized him back. One of them came from the X account @itsq*** which brought up Kiky's support for Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka who promoted the concept of sustainability for President Joko Widodo's government.
The account appears to have uploaded a screenshot of Kiky Saputri's old tweet on December 30 2023 during the 2024 presidential election campaign. "The atmosphere at X is still hot, let's go somewhere cool first. Enjoy life, enjoy the results of a year's work.
"Because next year, whoever the winner is, we will still work alone, tire ourselves, and enjoy the results ourselves," wrote Kiky while displaying photos of her holiday in England. These two uploads were satirized by the owner of the X account @itsquaileggs. He stated that Kiky had contributed to people's suffering.
"Just joke around, whoever is the president doesn't have an influence on our lives. "After all, yesterday you supported the SUSTAINABILITY candidate pair & became their 'soft-selling' agent, which means you contributed to the suffering of the people," commented @itsq****.
"That's the savings from suffering that you continue by dancing, okay gas, okay gas, Mamam, that's a free lunch," wrote @Jho***. "Your social criticism is of no quality... Hypocritical," added @can***. For your information, President Jokowi stipulated Government Regulation (PP) Number 21 of 2024 concerning amendments to PP Number 25 of 2020 concerning the Implementation of Tapera.
Reporting from the Suara.com page on Wednesday May 29, 2024, in Article 5 of PP Tapera, it is emphasized that every worker who is at least 20 years old or is married and has an income of at least the minimum wage is obliged to become a Tapera participant.
Article 7 also states the types of workers who are required to become Tapera participants. Not only civil servants or ASN and TNI-Polri, as well as BUMN, but also private workers, independent workers, or other workers who receive salaries or wages.
