SHINee's Key successfully rocked the ZOZO Marine Stadium stage at the event entitled ' KCON in Japan 2024'. The event, which was held on Friday-Sunday May 10-12, 2024), was attended by a number of other prominent artists.
Among them are Red Velvet, ZEROBASEONE, BOYNEXTDOOR, TWS, INI, NCT WISH, Jung Yong Hwa CNBLUE, Choi Ye Na, TEMPEST, JO1, and ME:I. Then there are also Kep1er, P1Harmony, and NiziU on May 11. Up to xikers, &TEAM, 8TURN, ILLIT, and Girls' Generation's Taeyon on May 12.
This is Key's second KCON as a soloist as well as his first KCON in Japan, after previously appearing at KCON Seoul in 2022. Different from before, this time he appeared in a red racer costume. This costume also reminds fans of the "Killer" era, where at that time Key also wore a racer costume in his music videos.
Launching Instagram @bumkeyklove on Monday May 13, 2024, Key successfully hypnotized the audience from the moment he appeared on the red carpet. In his interview, he admitted that he was happy to have the opportunity to attend to greet his fans as well as be the closing line up of this event.
As usual, the owner of the full name Kim Kibum delivered a spectacular performance through his favorite hit songs, and of course with a hand mic to show off his strong vocals. The show opened with a grand entrance from the song 'Gasoline'. Then he moved on to the Japanese single entitled 'Hologram' and closed with his latest song, 'Good and Great'.
Seeing Key's live performance with a hand mic so well, the fans seemed dissatisfied because the idol born in 1991 only performed 3 songs. However, he said that he would return to Japan to do a concert tour and release his latest Japanese single after 6 years.
Not only that, he will also release various content to entertain fans. Meanwhile, KCON is a major music convention and festival that celebrates Korean pop culture and entertainment. This event involves many groups and popular K-pop soloists and performances are held in many countries.
