Responding to the report, ACE FACTORY, Choi Sung Eun's agency, confirmed that it is true that the actress has received the offer and is currently reviewing it.
Carrying the romantic fantasy genre, 'Gyunwoo and Fairy' is a drama adapted from the popular webtoon of the same name. This drama tells the story of a high school student named Park Sung Ah who lives a double life as a shaman at night.
When she learns that her first love, Baek Gyun Woo, is near death, she takes action to save him, sparking a romance between them. Choi Sung Eun started her acting career through short films and theater. She debuted in 2018 through a theater drama titled 'Grain in the Blood'.
Choi Sung Eun got her first major role in a feature film after passing the audition for the comedy film 'Start-Up', where she played the role of red-haired girl So Kyung Joo. Thanks to her attention-stealing performance, she won the Best New Actress award from the Chunsa Film Festival and received another nomination from the Buil Film Awards in South Korea.
