The first trailer for the film Heretic produced by A24 has been launched on their various official platforms. The 2 minute 23 second trailer provides an initial overview of Heretic, a psychological horror genre that is both tense and arouses curiosity.

In this film, Hugh Grant will play a villain named Mr. Reed. Mr Reed welcomes two missionaries, played by Chloe East and Sophie Thatcher, to his sweet-smelling home. Unfortunately, the two young women did not know that an unfortunate fate would come their way.

They were trapped in a building like a tortuous labyrinth created by the mysterious man. This makes them rely on their faith and guts to make it out alive. Mr Reed offers his 'special guests' the option to leave if they wish, but they must choose which door to walk through based on their own beliefs.

" Test your faith. Watch the new trailer for Heretic, a psychological horror film directed by Scott Beck & Bryan Woods starring Hugh Grant, Sophie Thatcher and Chloe East. In cinemas this fall," read a tweet from the X A24 account, quoted on Thursday June 27, 2024.

Heretic is the work of writer-directors Scott Beck and Bryan Woods, who previously had success with the script for the 2018 horror film A Quiet Place. In addition, they also recently collaborated on a survival-themed film with Adam Driver entitled 65 and adapted Stephen King's work, The Boogeyman , for the big screen.

Scott Beck and Bryan Woods along with Katie Aquino, Liliane Bedford, Julia Glausi, Kai Raka, Stacey Sher, and Jeanette Volturno, also served as producers in making this film. They managed to secure a temporary agreement to continue production during last year's SAG-AFTRA strike without breaking the rules, so filming for Heretic began straight away in Vancouver last October 2023.

The film Heretic will be released in the United States on November 15 before hitting cinemas in the UK on November 22, 2024. Regarding its broadcast in Indonesia, it is still not known for certain. So always look forward to the latest updates from this film!
