Lee Dong Wook has been tapped to star in a new drama. Reporting from Soompi on Tuesday June 4, 2024, the actor reportedly received an offer to star in a drama entitled ' Divorce Insurance '. "The actor is currently reviewing the offer to star in the new drama 'Divorce Insurance'," said KINGKONG by STARSHIP as Lee Dong Wook's agency.
'Divorce Insurance' tells the story of a man who works on the product development team of an insurance company and designs divorce-related insurance plans. Lee Dong Wook was reportedly offered to play the role of Noh Ki Joon, an elite insurance actuary who graduated from a prestigious university abroad but has been through divorce three times.
This drama will be directed by Director Lee Won Suk who received positive reviews with the comedy film 'Killing Romance'. Although the broadcast schedule for 'Divorce Insurance' has not been determined, tvN said that they are discussing the possibility of broadcast next year.
