It was recently revealed that (G)I-DLE's Shuhua managed to lose 6 kilograms after going on a strict diet. Many fans have noticed that the idol looks fresher. However, in the past, Shuhua had been in the spotlight for looking much bigger than the other (G)I-DLE members.

At one point, Shuhua weighed around 50 kg with a height of 161 cm. Although she tended to be ideal and not overweight, her body was considered less toned due to lack of exercise. Her weight gain became more visible when standing next to the other members.

Having received comments about her body shape, Shuhua seems to be serious about her diet. She is committed to doing Pilates and following a strict diet. Now, she weighs 44 kg. For breakfast, Shuhua eats an apple and low-fat yogurt. Then, for lunch, she eats brown rice with kimchi.

In addition, he eats various side dishes, including beans. Finally, for dinner, he eats sweet potatoes and chicken breast. In addition, the idol born on January 6, 2000 also reduced snacks. He tried as much as possible to avoid fried, oily, or salty foods. 

She also stopped consuming high-calorie stews and soups, as well as the habit of eating late at night or while traveling, which could make him even hungrier. The Shuhua Diet is considered very low in calories but still healthy and achievable, as it includes a variety of food groups from starches and proteins to fiber.

It was revealed that after the Chuseok holidays, Cube Entertainment would weigh all of their idols and upload their weight to the public for everyone to see. 

This tactic was meant to shame those who had gained weight and force them to lose it. This is partly because the public still believes that beauty means being slim. Although K-pop idols appear healthy and not overweight, some people may think otherwise.
