Actress Jeon Yeo Been was recently cast to star in the latest Korean drama titled 'Our Movie' and act alongside actor Namgoong Min. Quoting from KpopStarz on July 3, 2024 Jeon Yeo Been is in discussions to play the lead role in the romantic drama.
According to the actress' agency, she is in the final stages of considering appearing in the project, signaling a positive response that she is expected to return to the romance genre. 'Our Movie' tells the story of Lee Jae Ha, a film director who is experiencing a slump, and an actress who is seriously ill.
Lee Jae Ha wanted to make a film about a terminal illness, and cast an actress who had a terminal illness in real life. Namgoong Min is reportedly in talks for the role of director Lee Jae Ha, who meets Jeon Yeo Been's character while struggling through a low point in his career, and the two eventually develop deep feelings.
'Our Movie' will reportedly be directed by Director Lee Jung Heum, who is known for his works such as 'Inspector Koo' and 'Nobody Knows', while the script will be written by Han Ga Eun and Kang Kyung Min. If Jeon Yeo Been accepts the offer to star in 'Our Movie', this will mark her comeback to the small screen after her successful starring role in 'A Time Called You' in 2023.
