Singer Kang Daniel has signed an exclusive contract with ARA (Artistic Round Alliance) on the 25th, opening a new chapter in his career. ARA Co., Ltd. was founded by a director from KONNECT Entertainment with experience from YG and Big Hit.

After his exclusive contract with KONNECT Entertainment ended in early June, Kang Daniel received numerous offers from major global labels and leading agencies. However, he chose to remain loyal to the staff he had been working with, making a swift decision to minimize fans' concerns and support his team amid internal strife.

An ARA official stated, "We cherish all the hearts of the fans from this new starting point. Along with recruiting, we will provide full support so Kang Daniel can focus on his artistic activities, prioritizing communication with fans. We ask for your warm eyes and support."

To commemorate the 5th anniversary of his solo career, Kang Daniel will hold a live broadcast on the afternoon of the 25th. He plans to express his gratitude to his fans, Danity, for their unwavering support, and share insights into his new start and future plans.

Born in 1996, Kang Daniel first gained fame by winning first place on the Mnet survival program 'Produce 101' in 2017, debuting in August that year as the center of the project group 'Wanna One'. The group achieved global popularity with hits like 'Energetic,' 'Beautiful,' and 'Boomerang.' Kang Daniel himself became a sensation with 'Man Who Shook Korea.'

After Wanna One disbanded in 2019, Kang Daniel founded KONNECT Entertainment and pursued a solo career. In 2022, he expanded into acting, starring in Disney+'s 'Rookie Cops' and winning the Popular Star Award at the 1st Blue Dragon Series Awards. Recently, he sued KONNECT Entertainment's major shareholder for forgery of private documents, leading to a natural separation from the company.
