South Korean actor Lee Dong Wook will voice one of the characters in the animated film Inside Out 2. This is his debut as a voice actor or dubber after 25 years of acting. Lee Dong Wook's agency King Kong by Starship said on Monday, June 3, 2024. "We ask for your interest in Lee Dong Wook, who is attempting his first dubbing acting since his debut." Disney Korea shared a video announcing that Lee Dong Wook will be participating as a voice actor in the film Inside Out 2 .
The 42-year-old actor also uploaded seven photos at once on his personal Instagram, showing his activities while doing the voice. "I will bring you great laughter and fun, so please look forward to Inside Out 2 ," Lee Dong Wook said in a video shared by Disney Korea.
Inside Out 2 will return to the mind of Riley who is now a 13-year-old teenager. Her peaceful life suddenly changes when new, strange characters such as Anxiety, Envy, Ennui, and Embarrassment appear in the emotional control center in her head. Lee Dong Wook will voice Lance, a video game character that Riley has loved since she was little.
Lance is one of Riley's secret favorite characters that she keeps in her mind. Lance will later meet Joy, Anger, Sadness, Fear, and Disgust who are trapped in glass bottles because new emotions take over the emotion control headquarters in Riley's house.
Although Lance has a perfect appearance, he also shows some awkward traits, adding to the spirit of the story. The film Inside Out 2 is scheduled to be released in Indonesian cinemas in June 2024. Different from Indonesia, the screening schedule for Inside Out 2 in South Korea has been announced, namely on Wednesday, June 12, 2024.
