After the success of " Magnetic " promotions , rookie girl group ILLIT is back to promote their b-side titled " Lucky Girl Syndrome ". This song is still part of their debut album "Super Real Me" which was released on March 25, 2024. While the music video for "Lucky Girl Syndrome" was released on April 17, 2024.

As the title suggests, the music video for "Lucky Girl Syndrome" tells the story of a girl who has good luck and is always free from bad luck. At the beginning of the video, the weather is dark and the rain is pouring down heavily, causing many people to take shelter on the shop veranda. However, by calling the lucky girl, the weather suddenly clears up so that she can continue her activities easily.

Then there was also someone who tried to escape from his house through the window. But he got lucky by falling on a pile of cloth so he didn't get injured. Another lucky streak continued. ILLIT said that they didn't need a golden ticket. But they just needed to believe in themselves.

This scene also shows a member who avoids a basketball attack because he picks up chocolate to eat. It doesn't stop there. ILLIT also avoids traffic jams and can get everything they want while playing at the night market. The glitz of the night market can perhaps be likened to worldly desires that often come to mind.

With luck, they can get all of that easily. ILLIT pressures her to always say the magic words, "I'm a lucky girl". Repeating this sentence can also be a positive affirmation that can ward off bad luck. This song has a bright feel and a different image from "Magnetic". If "Magnetic" has a message of love, then "Lucky Girl Syndrome" emphasizes more on saying positive and believing in yourself so you can live life more easily.

Although it has a positive message and is easy listening like most other HYBE girl group songs, but again ILLIT's vocals are still not strong and have character. So they don't leave a special impression after the song ends. The members also still need to learn to express themselves in order to convey the emotions of this song well.
