NCT Wish, has been appointed as ambassadors to promote the '15th Gwangju Biennale' event which will open from September 7, 2024. Quoting from dipe, on Wednesday July 3, 2024, 'The Gwangju Biennale' is an art exhibition that has built an international reputation as a leading art exhibition in Asia for 30 years.

This art exhibition was first held in 1995 and has demonstrated a spirit of experimentation in new discourse. Regarding the selection of NCT Wish as ambassadors to promote this art exhibition, a representative from The Gwangju Biennale said that NCT Wish is a group that has an image that is in harmony with them.

On the other hand, NCT Wish, which debuted on February 21, 2024. Among them are Sion, Riku, Yushi, Jaehee, Ryo, and Sakuya, they are known to have a fresh concept and channel positive energy. Since their debut, the group has attracted much attention from fans both locally and globally, and is considered one of the most talented and groundbreaking rookie groups this year. 

By selecting NCT Wish as ambassadors, The Gwangju Biennale hopes that NCT Wish will be able to resonate with the MZ generation and maximize the value of sharing and nurturing the real and intangible culture of the Gwangju Biennale with its ambassadors. 

NCT WISH said, "We are very happy to be selected as ambassadors for the 15th Gwangju Biennale. As ambassadors, we will work hard to introduce the Gwangju Biennale to more people around the world." Meanwhile, the 15th Gwangju Biennale will be held for 86 days. 

From September 7, 2024 to December 1, 2024. The theme this year is 'Pansori, Resonating for All'. The exhibition will be held at the Gwangju Biennale Exhibition Hall and around Yangnim-dong. NCT Wish themselves recently released their second single album titled 'Songbird' in Japanese and Korean versions , on June 26, 2024 and July 1, 2024 respectively.
