NOWADAYS Officially Makes Comeback with Release of Music Video for 'Why Not?'

NOWADAYS has officially made a comeback by releasing the music video for ' Why Not ?'. This song is the title track of their second single titled 'NOWHERE'. NOWADAYS' single 'NOWHERE' was officially released on August 27, 2024 at 16:00 WIB. This marks NOWADAYS' first comeback since their debut on April 2, 2024. 

'Why Not?' is a hip-hop dance song that has a wide musical spectrum and flexibility, with funky and catchy brass elements, expressing a free yet strong spirit in today's era.The music video for 'Why Not?' has the concept of 'a boy in love,' showing NOWADAYS' free-spirited and naughty side. 

The music video, which is set in a gym, shows Hyeonbin, Yoon, Yeonwoo, Jinhyuk, and Siyun who have transformed into taekwondo, volleyball, and athletic athletes. Besides the song 'Why Not?' there are two other songs that were released in the 'NOWHERE' single. 

Tracklist in the single 'NOWHERE' NOWADAYS, namely 'Why Not?', 'Heart vs Head' and 'Troublesome.' Reported by South Korean media OSEN, Cube Entertainment, the agency that houses NOWADAYS, held a showcase to commemorate the release of the single 'NOWHERE'. 

The showcase was held on the same day as the album's release and was held at Yes24 Live Hall, Gwangjin-gu, Seoul. NOWADAYS members who performed the song 'Why Not?' live successfully captivated the audience. Although the song's choreography seemed tiring, they still performed perfectly. 

The dance break at the end of the song was also a moment that should not be missed. Through the showcase , they said, “We will show off our bright charm with our new song.” They also said, “We want to become a group that people want to see again and again.”

When discussing the differences between their debut single and their second single this time, the NOWDAYS members said, “If we showed our unexpected charm through our debut song, I think we will be able to show a unique, bright charm this time.” NOWDAYS debuted by releasing the single 'NOWDAYS' four months ago. 

There are three songs in it, namely 'NOW,' 'OoWee' and 'TICKET'. 'NOW' is the main song that has a strong message about courage and enthusiasm to live life in the present. The music video for 'Why Not?' is now available to watch on the NOWDAYS YouTube channel.
