BLACKPINK's Rose  successfully debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 thanks to her latest song titled APT . The song, which also featured Bruno Mars, made Rose the first Korean female soloist to reach the Top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 . 

This was revealed directly by Billboard on Tuesday October 29, 2024, along with the achievement of the top charts in the United States. The song APT. successfully debuted at number eight on the charts. "BLACKPINK member Rose earns her first Top 10 as a soloist, surpassing the group's highest number 13 with Ice Cream featuring Selena Gomez in 2022," Billboard reported.

"Rose also made history as the first prominent female artist in K-Pop to make it into the top 10. Meanwhile, Bruno Mars added to his achievements by making his 20th Top 10 Hot 100," he continued. Meanwhile, Bruno Mars entered the Billboard Hot 100's Top 10 with two songs, including "APT." 

featuring Rose and "Die With A Smile" with Lady Gaga, which reached No. 4. Billboard Hot 100 is the most popular chart in the United States that combines all genres from various sources. The sources include streaming services, radio airplay and sales data, as well as purchases of physical singles and digital tracks.

BLACKPINK's Rose officially made a solo comeback through a collaboration single with Bruno Mars titled APT. which was released on October 18, 2024. APT. is Rose's first project under The Black Label and Atlantic Records.

APT. was released simultaneously with a music video (MV) uploaded on YouTube. The almost three-minute MV shows the two musicians joking around in a pink-themed studio. The single APT. is the first single from Rose's full album titled rosie. 

The solo album will contain 12 songs and is planned for release on December 6, 2024. Rosie is Rose's first project with her new agency, The Black Label, for all solo activities. While group activities are still managed by YG Entertainment. Rose made her solo debut in 2021 through the single titled R.
