South Korean actor, Ahn Hyo-Seop has landed his next lead role in the drama ' The Night of Heaven ', a mystery melodrama helmed by the director of ' Lovely Runner '. Ahn Hyo-Seop, who rose to global fame thanks to ' Business Proposal ', is now gearing up for his next leading role.
As per a new report, he has been cast in 'The Night of Heaven', an upcoming mystery melodrama to be helmed by Yoon Jong-Ho, the director of 'Lovely Runner', starring Byeon Woo-Seok and Kim Hye-Yoon.
On October 31, 2024, Korean media outlets reported that Ahn Hyo-Seop is in talks to star in the upcoming crime, mystery, and melodrama, 'The Night of Heaven'. It is based on the 2022 novel of the same name by author Hwang Ui-Geon.
The story will revolve around rumors surrounding conglomerates and the entertainment industry. This drama will tell the story of a woman, who is the heiress of a large conglomerate. However, because she is an illegitimate child, her life is not as perfect as it seems.
When she meets the hero of a secret club in Cheongdam-dong, they learn to love while holding hands to protect each other from evil forces. Ahn Hyo-Seop is considering the role of Cheong Guk, a former taekwondo athlete and current ace of a secret club called Bel Homme (Handsome Men in French).
Cheong Guk has a tall and muscular physique as expected of a martial artist. He entered the entertainment industry after taking on a loan shark because his stepmother ran away after stealing his father's insurance money.
She is expected to unravel a unique love story with the heir to a conglomerate, while also trying to solve mysteries surrounding the entertainment industry, her runaway stepmother and more. Now all eyes are on who will play the female lead in 'The Night of Heaven'.
This will mark Ahn Hyo-Seop's return to TV after a year since 'A Time Called You', which aired in 2023.
