The film 'Police Story: Lockdown' is back on Trans TV Cinema. This action genre film starring Jackie Chan will air on Sunday November 17, 2024, precisely at 21.00 WIB. Released in 2013, 'Police Story: Lockdown' is the 8th sequel to the film 'Police Story' which first appeared in 1985. 

This time, director Sheng Ding directed the film. In addition to starring, Jackie Chan is also involved as a producer. Also appearing are actors Ye Liu, Tian Jing, Rongguang Yu, and Lu Cai. 'Police Story: Lockdown' is known to have a budget of US$35 million and earned a box office of US$94.2 million despite getting a rating of 14 percent on Rotten Tomatoes and 44 percent on Metacritic.

This film tells the story of Zhong Wen's (Jackie Chan) efforts to save his daughter, Miao Miao (Wu Jiang), who is being held hostage by her own lover. As a father and a police officer, Zhong Wen is a very busy man who rarely meets Miao Miao. Until one day, he finds out that his daughter has a boyfriend.

It is known that her daughter's boyfriend is named Wu Jiang (Liu Ye), who is the owner of a nightclub. Miao Miao's relationship with Wu Jiang is not approved by Zhong Wen. Zhong Wen then fights with his daughter because the police suspect Wu Jiang.

Zhong Wen's suspicions were confirmed. Wu Jiang was suspected of having an evil plan by holding Miao and all the visitors of his club hostage in order to avenge the past events. The plan causes chaos in the club. The patrons are taken hostage and locked in a barred room, including Miao Miao.
