Jung Yu Mi was a guest star on PD Na Young Suk's YouTube channel live broadcast on December 5, 2024 to promote the drama "Love Your Enemy". One of the things asked to the actress was about her first love.

PD Na asked, “How would you react if you met your first love in high school again, like in the drama?” Yu Mi explained how her views on love and breakups have changed over time. "About ten years ago, I received a similar question.

At that time, I jokingly said that I wanted to flick his forehead because I was annoyed," said Yu Mi. However, the sentiments of the actress born in 1983 have matured. "Now, I hope he's doing well after all these years. He's probably at peace now," Yu Mi added.

PD Na agreed, pointing out that as time passes, painful memories fade while positive ones often persist. Yu Mi also shared an honest moment from her first relationship. "I'm not sure if I should say this, but when I broke up with my first boyfriend, I realized something about myself that I hadn't realized before," she said.

Yu Mi revealed the sad moment she experienced after breaking up with her first boyfriend. "I thought I would be a little wild in that situation, but instead, I found myself crying, hugging him, begging, 'Don't hang up, don't hang up.'

When the phone call ended, I just cried, feeling so tired," she continued. In an unexpected twist, Yu Mi revealed that her next role after this experience will be in the film “Blossom Again.” “I think the emotional struggle is clearly visible on my face.

The character I play also faces the aftermath of first love,” she said. Hearing that, PD Na then jokingly commented, “It seems like you don’t need to act much for that part.” Yu Mi laughed before responding, “I didn’t realize I had such a sensitive side to me.”

Meanwhile, Yu Mi is currently still entertaining the audience through the drama "Love Your Enemy" which she stars with Ju Ji Hoon. The drama features two characters who reconnect after an emotionally difficult breakup that has lasted for 18 years.
