South Korean actor Park Sung Hoon has finally been confirmed to star in the latest Korean drama directed by Jang Tae Yoo, who previously produced the hit Korean drama My Love From The Star. In the Korean drama, Park Sung Hoon will star opposite SNSD's Yoona, entitled The Tyrann't Chef (working title).

Quoting from Soompi on Tuesday December 3, 2024, that on December 2, 2024, local media reported that Park Sung Hoon would star in the new drama "The Tyrant's Chef" (literal translation) as a cruel king. 

In response to the reports, Park Sung Hoon's agency BH Entertainment shared, “Park Sung Hoon received an offer to star in the new drama 'The Tyrant's Chef' and is positively reviewing the offer.” Meanwhile, the drama The Tyrant's Chef will tell the story of a chef who is at the peak of his career and travels back in time.

While in the past, he met a king who was known as the worst tyrant, but also the best chef. The drama will be directed by Jang Tae Yoo, who previously directed hit dramas such as My Love from the Star, Hyena, and Lovers of the Red Sky.

Previously, SNSD's Yoona was also offered the role of a tyrant chef and is currently reviewing the offer. If SNSD's Yoona accepts this offer, it will be her comeback after starring in King The Land (2023). The idol and actress is known for her outstanding acting in several hit dramas, such as Big Mouth, The K2 and many others.

Meanwhile, for Park Sung Hoon, this will be his latest drama to air in 2025. The name of the actor born in 1985 became increasingly well-known after starring in Not Others, The Glory and reached his peak after playing in Queen of Tears.
