Vivo V50 series will soon welcome a new member. Ahead of the release, the specifications of Vivo V50 Lite 4G and Vivo V50 5G were leaked to the public. Both phones have been listed on Google Play Console and benchmarking platforms.

The smartphones are confirmed to pack a massive 6,500mAh battery. That’s bigger than the standard Vivo V50 that was just launched. For reference, the Vivo V50 debuted in the global market in February 2025. The mid-range cellphone then arrived in Indonesia towards mid-March 2025.

The standard Vivo V50 is known to 'only' pack a 6,000 mAh battery and 90 W fast charging. In the last two months, Vivo V50 Lite has passed certification at SDPPI (Indonesia), NBTC (Thailand), BIS (India), and FCC (United States).

The Vivo V50 Lite has two connectivity options, namely 4G and 5G. The model number V2440 (Vivo V50 Lite 5G) has previously passed certification at the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and the Ministry of Industry's P3DN. The smartphone managed to pocket a TKDN value of 35.83 percent.

Early last month, model numbers V2440 (Vivo V50 Lite 5G) and V2441 (Vivo V50 Lite 4G) had passed certification on Komdigi's SDPPI page. Each device carries the certificate number '108175/DJID/2025' and '108090/DJID/2025'.

Given that it has passed certification, Vivo V50 Lite is believed to be launching in the near future. 91Mobiles and leaker Paras Guglani recently uploaded renders of the latest Vivo V50 Lite. We can see that the device has a pill-shaped camera setup similar to the base V50 .

This module houses two rear cameras along with an AURA LED ring light. Both variants look identical in terms of design. As mentioned earlier, the main difference lies in the chipset. Both phones also compactly pack a large 6,500 mAh battery with 90 W fast charging support.

Another difference between the two is in the camera setup. Quoted from Gizmochina, the Vivo V50 Lite 4G packs a 50 MP + 2 MP camera setup on the back along with a 32 MP selfie camera. On the other hand, the V50 Lite 5G has a 50MP + 8MP rear camera setup and a 32MP selfie sensor.

Both variants also get an IP65 rating for splash and dust resistance. It should be noted that the standard Vivo V50 was launched in Indonesia at a price of IDR 6.5 million to IDR 8 million. Of course, the Lite model is expected to have a cheaper price.
