BTS's Jin announced the good news that he is preparing for a solo comeback. According to a report from Newsen on Monday April 14, 2025, Jin will release a new album in May 2025. The report has also been responded to by BIGHIT MUSIC, which is BTS Jin's music label.
"Jin is preparing a new album with the goal of releasing it in May 2025," a source from the label said in response. However, details about BTS Jin's comeback and album will be announced later. "We plan to release details regarding the comeback at a later date," the source added.
This comeback will mark Jin's return to releasing new works, after about six months since the release of his first solo album Happy in November 2024. The solo album of the oldest member of BTS made an achievement by reaching the No. 4 position on the Billboard 200 chart with the title song Running Wild.
BTS's Jin also held a 2-day showcase in South Korea to celebrate the release of the Happy album. Currently, Jin is starring in the variety show Kian's Bizarre B&B along with Kian84 and Ji Ye Eun. The reality series is available to stream on Netflix.
